an okay stay with some drawbacks
dated decor street noise
The room felt a bit dated. the decor was basic, and the furniture showed wear. also, the noise from the street was noticeable at night. I would have appreciated better soundproofing. it wasn't terrible! but it kept me from getting a restful sleep.

The breakfast had a nice selection of different foods. The staff was attentive. It was nice to open the window and have the sound of the river. Staff helped us with maps and tips on what to see around town. The room was very comfy and tidy.
The room was hot, and the ceiling fan was not quite enough. I kept the doors open the second night, which helped. It was a bit loud then. The room was tired and definitely needed some touch-ups. The parking place was expensive, though small.

I adored that my room had a balcony, its view stretched across the river. They offered wonderful suggestions for local spots. breakfast felt so plentiful and delicious. I really enjoyed the variety and quality.
the parking location involved a short walk, which became slightly inconvenient with luggage i found it just a bit of a trek

The staff were cute and helpful. They created a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. the location is excellent, very close to many points of interest in the city. breakfast had a good selection. the view from my room was lovely. It overlooked the reuss river with mount pilatus in the distance.
I noticed bugs in the bathroom window, and they ended up all over the sink. This was a very minor inconvenience!

The breakfast options were great. Food items were constantly replenished. the breakfast room was a cute space on the entry level, very convenient and well kept. It offered a good start to each day.

the location was perfect though the parking was expensive. the hotel is near many restaurants and shops, and the chapel bridge is a short walk away. it is also within walking distance of the train station.

The rooms were clean, and they offered great space. i loved having a balcony with a view of the river and mountains. It was idyllic. the bathroom only has a shower, it was very large.
