Solid stay near the Metro

The hotel was inexpensive and felt SECURE. It was conveniently close to the Metro, made getting around very easy. I found several wonderful, affordable bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The beds in my room were quite comfortable. I slept well each night.
The street could be noisy at times, though it did not bother me much.

The reception area had a cute atmosphere. Bag storage was available before check-in and after check-out, which I appreciated (it was a HUGE help). These amenities added convenience to my travels.

A lovely dining area was available . The breakfast room looked nice, though I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Guests have an option to enjoy breakfast on-site.

My standard double room was decent and well-decorated. The room included fully openable windows both in the room and the bathroom. I appreciated having the option for fresh air (which is very nice!).

I appreciated the friendly staff. They spoke multiple languages making communication easy. the room was exactly as pictured (a superior double room) and very bright.

the staff were helpful. nothing was too much for these guys.
the carpet on the stairs smelled bad and looked very dirty. it seemed like it needed cleaning or replacing, we didn't like that.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean.
The area felt a bit sketchy, especially walking back to the hotel at night. The lack of air conditioning was a problem because it was quite hot (I would have liked to control the temperature).
