the location is excellent. it sits very close to the train station (maybe a one-minute walk). the staff were accommodating. they stored luggage for my daughter and me overnight. this french cafe offers very typical french meals.

the hallways felt somewhat dirty. this didn't really bother me (though others might find it off-putting).

The room i occupied was quite run-down. the peeling paint and stained linens were particularly off-putting (i really expect better standards). also, the fact i couldn't keep the room key when i left the premises felt quite insecure. i had to leave it at the bar each time. This is a bad system.

The hotel is very close to the train station. It is super convenient. The staff were very kind and tried to understand my attempts at French. I was able to check in early to drop off my luggage. This was very helpful. The bar downstairs has cheap food and drinks, AMAZING!!!

The decor looks quite dated, and I noticed some peeling wallpaper. This is the only slight negative I encountered.
