poor soundproofingstale bread
I wasn't thrilled about the noise. The soundproofing was REALLY poor, and I could hear everything from the room above. People stomping around late at night. The continental breakfast also left something to be desired. The selection was ok, but some of the bread seemed stale. I noticed the host didn't greet guests upon arrival which felt impersonal.

the room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough.
my experience was poor. the self-service setup lacked the irish hospitality i expected. i found the absence of a host and the need to prepare my own breakfast disappointing. it felt more like a hostel, yet the price remained high.

a pleasing stay with attention to detail

the room had a very large bed it was comfortable. breakfast had lots of choices of teas and juices. it was pleasing to have parking on site. the location gave easy access to main routes and several towns worth visiting.
the shower door did not seal shut it caused a slight leak on the floor.

the continental breakfast included a huge choice of items. i could also use the microwave oven on site to prepare a meal. it was very convenient and satisfactory.
