I found the staff to be helpful. the hotel's central location made exploring easy. i particularly enjoyed the live music and tapas. The pianist created a great atmosphere, and the portion sizes were very generous. the new year's eve celebration in the king's room was sparkling with festive decorations.
i noticed the room felt quite cold, and i found that the radiators were already turned up as high as they could go. this.

The on-site car park (i was very pleased!) provided convenient access. The building showed its history well. The staff were really helpful with directions and local information. The on-site restaurant provided a nice dining option .
The limited number of electrical sockets in the room was a bit inconvenient for charging multiple devices simultaneously. I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone.

The room had a good size. The location was decent. The staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. The bathroom was updated and it felt nice and warm.
The food was expensive. The quality of the food was not particularly good. I was charged for early access to the room before 4 pm.

the room felt quite outdated and showed signs of wear. dust was noticeable in several areas and some of the furniture looked tired. the bed, while seemingly adequate, wasn't particularly comfortable was good. overall, the room needed a refresh to meet expectations for the price i paid.

the check-in was super quick and easy!!! staff were very helpful and polite. my room had everything i needed, like an iron, ironing board, and lots of storage. i really appreciated the usb sockets by the bed and the sizeable smart tv.
the only small issue was a little street noise at night, but it wasn't too bad
