creaky floorboardsdamp smell
The room looked nice initially but the floorboards creaked a lot. a strong damp smell was also present. i asked about switching rooms, but the staff said they were fully booked. This felt unhelpful. the room condition and service lessened the experience.

The on site parking was useful. They helped with a ground floor room because I am disabled.
The room was cold at night. I attempted turning on the heat, but it never worked. I had to wear my jumper in bed. The breakfast was small. Especially the sausages were not a normal size. A piece of plastic wrapping was on his black pudding, a shock.

the breakfast was spot on, it met my needs for a quick start to the day.
The noise from other rooms was awful. i could hear everything. It sounded like people were moving furniture all night! also, the bed was too soft and gave me a backache. I found it hard to get comfortable twice.
