great food and relaxed atmosphere
top value large games room live music warm welcome
I stayed for a kids' football tournament and found the venue excellent. the steaks on a stone were top value. the games room offered plenty of entertainment. steve, claire, and the staff definitely helped make it a fantastic weekend. Their welcome was genuinely warm.
the bar got quite loud sometimes.

Lots of parking spaces are available . It proved very convenient. walking into the city took under an hour. public transport links are also accessible from the hotel.

The staff were friendly. the owner was cute. He understood our situation. staff couldn't do enough. They helped us to get to our destination when we became unstuck with transport.

Tea, coffee, and orange juice were available for free. i found the bar area pleasant. the bar offered down to earth simple food which was very nice. the pillows and duvet were lovely. They provided great comfort.

loud noise non-functional tv
the room was clean, which i guess is the bare minimum these days.
the noise was pretty bad. i could hear everything from the pub downstairs until late. the tv also didn't work, so that wasn't great. seems the hotel is very basic.

The staff was lovely and professional! The room was spotlessly clean and had everything needed, including big towels and a TV. It was really good value and I liked the security keypad for the front door.
I noticed the parking system requires screen entry, a little different.
