The pub has good ale at reasonable prices. two seating areas near my room were perfect for reading quietly. there was plenty of parking. I registered without any issues. the room was clean and spacious, that was great.
i noticed some water damage from a roof leak, but it didn't impact my short stay much.

The staff was very friendly. My room had blackout blinds, which helped a lot. The furniture in the communal areas looked lovely.
The music from the bar was loud. I could not sleep until after they closed. The toilet seat had not been cleaned. I had to clean it myself.

The room felt quite dated. The decor looked old and tired. The noise level from the nearby pub was noticeable, continuing until late in the evening (around midnight, in fact). This made it a little difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep.

the check in happened at the bar , and the person just rushed off to the queue of people. unpainted ceiling after repair was visible. there was no glass for water.
