clean rooms side door homely atmosphere
I booked all rooms. It had a separate side door from the restaurant. A lovely communal room linked all bedrooms, so it reminded me of a private house. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A nice homely atmosphere was present.
The walk to the center is a bit long.

The structure is new, well-decorated, and spacious. A communal space has sofas, armchairs, a kitchenette, and cooking facilities. There are four spacious rooms, each equipped with new furniture and illuminated with natural light.

backed-up shower drain dirty water
The location suited my plans and the room was quiet.
The bathroom trash was full when I arrived so the cleanliness seemed questionable. The shower drain was backed up and I had to stop the shower often. I stood in dirty water and the management only said sorry.

convenient stay near the city
bus stop street parking
the location was quite convenient, with a bus stop just outside. this made travelling into the city center very simple. i also appreciated the availability of free street parking nearby. a supermarket across the road made it easy to get supplies.
noise from the bar below was noticeable until late at night. i also found the shared kitchen cleanliness depended heavily on other guests. this was a bit of a letdown.

the manager was readily available and quick to respond to requests. the front desk also provided assistance with luggage and check in. i did find them to be consistently attentive and helpful throughout my stay.

The location suited my needs perfectly. i found the bistro served excellent food, a significant plus. the shared kitchen area proved convenient for preparing simple meals. i appreciated the communal breakfast set up. It was well stocked with continental options.
the street parking was sometimes challenging to find, i had to circle a couple of times.

musty smell bad ventilation
the restaurant was a plus point for evening meals it was really helpful
the room had a musty smell in the bathroom it might be because of bad ventilation. the bedroom faced the main road and i found it noisy. even with earplugs, i still heard the traffic and didn't sleep well for two nights.

The shower had a large rain showerhead. I appreciated the decor with its good quality materials. The location was beneficial to my itinerary.
