The building had historic charm. Breakfast included fresh fruit. Staff directed us to a gastropub. I found the pub had good food and was a short walk. It was an ideal location for nearby activities. The hotel seemed like stepping onto a movie set. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained.
The room's lock was stiff making it difficult to open.

Breakfast featured a big bowl of fresh fruit as a vibrant centerpiece. The children enjoyed waffles with Nutella and the food was generally top quality. Staff provided recommendations for a good pub with excellent food within walking distance.

The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Debbie was wonderful with the children. I noticed she took them to see the gardens outside. She shared stories about foxes and deer that occasionally visit.

The room was beautifully presented. I observed that the beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location was quiet making it easy to rest.

the breakfast included a great fruit selection. i especially liked the waffles (the kids loved them). the hotel seemed to be right out of a movie set. the location was close to legoland, a very short drive.
the shower had terrible low pressure. there was no bottled water (i'm used to this). i found used towels in the bathroom. the towels felt cheap.
