Wonderful stay, excellent service

friendly staff fresh water delicious breakfast quiet location
The staff was friendly. The night porter provided fresh water. The breakfast served was delicious and quite substantial. The building had an attractive appearance. I appreciated the quiet seafront location. I found many bars and restaurants just a short walk away.
I noticed some dust in some areas, only a small issue.

mixed feelings about this stay

constant drone sea view
My room was not what i expected. i booked a 'queen room sea view', but i got a standard double with no sea view. there was also no bath. My son was disappointed. the extractor fan in the bathroom kept running all night, a constant drone.

The location is amazing, with easy access to the waterfront. The staff are genuinely friendly and very helpful. I had a beautiful King Room Sea View. It had a spacious layout. The shower was amazing.
The music from the bar was slightly audible in my room until late, though it stopped at a reasonable hour.

the room was big. the bed felt comfortable.
I paid for a Queen room with a bath and a sea view. i GOT a standard double room instead. it had no sea view and no bath, quite annoying.

convenient stay near the quay

clean room polite staff excellent food
the room was clean and airy. the staff was very polite and courteous. i ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent, I enjoyed the chicken wings starter and smoked cod main. after dinner i took a walk around the quay and met friendly locals.
the check-in desk is on the way to the toilets, it's not very pleasant.
