the staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly. they were also very helpful. the room was spacious and clean. the food was very good (i especially liked the dessert options).
the open shower was not to my liking.

coffee and tea were brought to my room. this service replaced a standard kettle. the gesture was very nice. the drinks also tasted better than if i prepared them myself (which was a definite plus).

the staff were friendly and helpful. we loved the design of the pub. the food was excellent, i had great fish and chips. the room size was good, and the shower was great.
the room was a bit cold. the windows let cold air in. the heating wasn't great. there were a couple of marks on the bedsheets.

the hotel is a few minutes walk to the bus stop. frequent busses travel to the city centre from there. this made getting around easy. it was convenient.

the staff have a 'can do' attitude. this shone through when we had glitches on arrival. they were really good too give guests a positive experience. i was grateful.

continental breakfast costs only a fiver. i enjoyed it. the bar restaurant and food was great. the bar had entertainment to make working away from home easier.

The staff was very helpful. I was able to get assistance quickly. Snacks and water were a real treat in the room.
There was a noticeable smell. The bed was uncomfortably firm, like a rock. The bathroom had dirt and a bad smell. I never want to return to that place.
