The staff helped me check in early, so that was good. They even had water and a towel for my dog when I got there. Breakfast have good, typical English options and cereal too.
The room looked very dated and old. The walls and woodwork need cleaning. I noted there werent any blackout curtains and the blinds did not fit the window very well.

The twin room was a good size. it had adequate storage, i found a lovely shower room too! plenty of safe car parking was available at the back. This was helpful. there is a convenience store right next door. That was handy for supplies.

worn mattresspub noise
The mattress was worn and made noise with every movement. Sleep was difficult. The landlord did not provide a receipt at departure, an inconvenience. He claimed to not yet be VAT registered, which seemed strange. Noise from the pub downstairs kept me awake. Early nights were impossible.
