building character pub food convenient parking long check-in bar area unanswered phone
I loved how much character the building had! the pub food hit the spot after a long day. car parking only cost £12 a night. it was just 50 metres away too. Super convenient!
Check-in took ages. I waited twenty-five minutes. i stood around in the bar area. the manager told me someone would let me in if i called after 1:00 am, but nobody answered when i got locked out.

the staff was very helpful and polite. the food came out fast and was delicious. the inside looked fine. the bed was most comfy. i will visit again most definitely.
the steps up to the rooms are very steep.

the hotel is near to the city centre. it is handy for st andrews football stadium. transportation is good here. you can go to the square on foot.

helpful staff full runthrough great range high noise levels uncomfortable mattresses cheap mattress
the staff was helpful! they gave us a full runthrough of the site and told us all the info we needed. the room was beautiful, and there was a great range of food and drinks available in the restaurant bar. the hot shower was also nice!
The noise levels were high at night. The music went on until 1 am. i could not get to sleep most of the night because of the music. the mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs.

friendly staff clean room
The location was perfect for exploring. i enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. the room had a great view and was impeccably clean. i liked that the bar's atmosphere was cozy, with good music that ended at 11 p.m. Not a very quiet place but nice!

The double room was spacious and clean! The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night. Staff members were helpful. They provided directions and recommendations. The pub offered a range of beers and meals, and the atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming.
The stairs to the rooms are steep, so pack light.
