A Truly Wonderful Stay!

The room was a nice size. The bathroom included a great shower! I also appreciated the good finishing touches that you don't get with chain hotels. The hotel's quieter location was good.
The noise from the adjacent hotel was present.

amazing jewellery quarter gem
comfortable bedpowerful showerfresh milk
my superior double room was nicely decorated with great original features. the bed felt comfortable. i loved the powerful shower and the quality toiletries provided. it was so easy to check in here, and i really appreciated the fresh milk, cereals and fruit at the breakfast station in reception.
the window covering didn't look great and could be done better.

the hotel is located in the jewellery quarter and is close to many local attractions. being in a quieter area provides a peaceful retreat. it is still easily accessible to the city center by foot or public transport.

noisy ground floorinadequate curtains
The junior suite wasn't exactly a quiet retreat. my room was right by the front door. I didn't get much sleep until late. and then, the curtains... they didn't meet in the middle so early morning light was an issue. it's a small thing, i know! but a big impact on sleep quality.

The staff were friendly. They were helpful and accommodating. I liked having a very nice pub attached to the hotel. The continental breakfast was delicious.
I could see water damage on the walls. The bathroom needs some maintenance. The carpet in the bathroom was wet. The radiator in the bathroom made a permanent noise.
