surprising smart tv!

the room had a smart tv.. it even had youtube pre-installed alongside netflix. i have accounts for both apps so that was very useful. the continental breakfast was also a selling point. i found the price to be very good for what they offered.
the hotel did not have any place to hang my clothes. there was some mold on the walls. it looked like the place had not been painted in about a year. the tv was broken off the wall and unfixed.

i found the staff quite accommodating. parking was plentiful in front of the hotel. it was a short walk to rookery park, about two minutes. the room was decent in size.
the room was quite small. there were no curtains, only broken blinds. i noticed a cold wind coming in around the window frame.

the breakfast included a basic continental selection. the staff was helpful in the dining area. breakfast was spacious early in the mornings. there was no cutlery available for the included english breakfast though the dining area was lovely!

the single room i booked had a private bathroom. i considered it comfortable and ideal for a quick overnight stay. the room was clean, proper and tidy. rooms had a coffee and tea section, this was a nice touch.
