friendly stafftasty gravydusty lampshadesfilthy windows
I enjoyed a yummy beef shin pie at the restaurant. It was a proper pie, it had steak and tasty gravy. The staff are friendly and it. The pub is so good and I will be back.
I booked a double room and there was little space to put things away. The glass lampshades either side of the bed was dusty, this was not good. The Velux windows were so filthy it was not good, I think they had not been cleaned in long time. The bathroom ceiling needs a bit of TLC, the peeling paint is not good.

the onsite parking was very convenient! i was also grateful for the car charging facility for electric vehicles. the food in the restaurant was very tasty. the evening menu included a good variety of dishes.
the stairs were very difficult to access, especially with luggage. the room became unbearably hot. even with the air purifier, it made no difference. i found the weekday breakfast times far too early.

Excellent Food and Service

ample parkingfarmland viewconfusing process
I appreciated the ample parking available. The farmland view from our window was a real delight. Breakfast service was excellent and it was one of my favourite stays, I could easily have stayed longer. The shower was great and the bed was really comfortable.
Communication wasn't very clear when I tried to confirm the early check-in request. We weren't asked how our stay was or wished a safe onward journey when we left, a shame.

A chair in my room was low. It was not very comfortable for sitting. So I had to sit on the bed instead.
