the location was lovely, right around the corner from the lake! local town was really pleasant as well.
the cleaning was really bad. the kitchen rubbish bins overflew with the rubbish. i stayed for a week and the room was not cleaned even once, though i asked for it. the internet did not work in the hotel for the whole period i was there and though the owner tried to resolve it, it was not working.

The location was great for accessing the town. I found a parking space behind the hotel. Check-in was clear and easy. The room was clean and included tea and coffee.
The shower was controlled by a tap and did not consistently provide hot, powerful water. The thermostat was set low. This.

I found the staff really helpful and the communication was great. the room was clean, also it was very cosy, i had amazing views overlooking lake windermere. parking behind the hotel was handy. I could easily walk to the lake and nearby attractions (the location is perfect). i liked the tea and coffee provided. It was of lovely quality.
the shower didn't heat up as expected on the check-out day, so i had a cold shower that morning.

the beautiful king room offered beautiful lake-facing views, and i saw rabbits running around on the field. the beds were comfy. the room included tea and coffee.

The location was excellent near the lake. The room included opening windows allowing fresh air. Municipal car park spaces were available a short walk away..
I stayed in a room that was too hot. There was no way to regulate the radiator. I also found insufficient toilet paper initially provided.

I stayed for a few days and the self check-in process seemed like easy. It added an element of ease! access to the kitchen was beneficial. the location amazed me. The short walk to the lake was such a treat. the communication from sonia hutchison was clear and thoughtful, while evelina, the caretaker, was kind.
The shower's temperature was somewhat inconsistent, this detracted slightly from the overall experience. I believe a more consistent temperature control would improve it.

The location was great. It was only a two-minute walk to windermere lake. the hotel offered great views, with rooms overlooking the lake. despite the central location, the area remained calm. I slept well every night.
