The room decor was SPOT on. The staff were friendly. That is true. The food was excellent. I recommend it. I would return definitely. I appreciate the cleanliness.
The bathroom was a little small for the price I paid.

The room was clean, which I REALLY appreciated. It had a private bathroom and comfortable furnishings. The decor was modern, and it created a relaxing atmosphere after a long day.

This hotel provides a convenient base to explore the Lake District. Carlisle is also nearby. It is an easy drive. The hotel is in a gorgeous location, and I could easily access local attractions.

small bathroomtired decor
I found a couple of things disappointing. the bathroom was quite small. It was hard to manage toiletries because there was little space. Also , the pub's decor seemed a little tired in areas NOT renovated.
