the staff were super friendly , and the location was decent.
the room reeked of cigarette smoke , a rather unpleasant surprise , and despite it being december , there was no heating.

the hotel offered a really warm welcome. i requested more tea supplies and they supplied them readily. the bed was comfy and a bonus was how close i was to the leas cliff hall. i purchased a parking exemption ticket from reception for £5.50.
the bedroom window did not open, the room felt stuffy.

the room had a nice size i appreciated the cleanliness throughout my stay i liked having a standard twin room the shared balcony provided lovely views i really enjoyed my time there the location was great close to the sea with such a nice sunrise. the staff were nice and super helpful and the price was fair for such a clean place and great location i enjoyed the sea view.
the mattress was a bit hard

a tesco store is conveniently close i found it easy to get snacks and drinks for the room there are restaurants within walking distance offering various dining options around the hotel.

the daytime reception staff were helpful i noticed the general areas were clean throughout the day the night reception staff quickly helped when my room key didn't work when i returned one evening it was nice.

the reception staff were very friendly polite and bubbly. i was allowed to leave my bag before check-in. the room was very clean and fresh it had beautiful views of the sea.
the hotel is undergoing refurbishment. the room was very dated and drab.
