friendly staff tasty chicken
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I had dinner at the bar and tried the Balmoral Chicken, a chicken breast filled with haggis and wrapped in bacon, it was really tasty.. the peppercorn sauce made it even better. The bar was spacious, offering many beers and whiskies.
The room was not very big.

convenient location clean room helpful staff
the location near the border is very convenient. the room was clean with nice decorations. the bed offered good comfort. i found the staff quite helpful .
the shower was a tight squeeze.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was clean and perfect for what i needed. breakfast was excellent and staff were pleasant.

The food at the bar was lovely and plentiful. I enjoyed having a smart TV in the room. It was a comfortable addition. The staff sorted out a mix-up regarding my dog quickly. Breakfast was very nice, and they even brought out a sausage for him, I loved it!
I think the hotel needs some updating to match the prices. The shower wasn't great at all, unfortunately. This is my only issue .

This is a perfect base for exploring the local area around. The car park is a good size and is easy to use. I appreciated it. The hotel is well-situated.

The service I got was friendly and efficient, everyone was lovely. I was able to resolve a small issue upon arrival promptly. The staff helped immediately. I was very happy!
