Acceptable Stay with a Few Hiccups

The noise was a real issue. I could hear everything from the bar below and people going up the stairs late at night. It definitely impacted my sleep. I was surprised that there was no shampoo or soap provided in the room. I felt I had overpaid for what I got. It wasn't the best experience.

the staff was accommodating and did their best to assist with requests.
My room was quite small and felt outdated. the lack of proper soundproofing was noticeable. I could clearly hear noise from the bar below late into the night. this made it difficult to get a restful sleep. a small room, difficult sleep

The staff was really friendly. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast included a good selection of juices, fruit, and yogurt. A hot cooked breakfast was also available and came with the room rate.
The building outside looks a bit tired and dated. There were many cigarette ends lying around the entrance. This gives a bad first impression.

The hotel restaurant had good food, and my evening meal was quite filling. Breakfast included yogurt, juice, and fresh fruit, so I was grateful. They also offered a cooked breakfast, and it tasted delicious.

The staff were very helpful when I checked in, and this was wonderful. They were always smiling and ready to assist with any questions, and I appreciated that. The service.
