i stayed in a double room. the room included fresh towels and biscuits. the friendliness of the staff was wonderful, they were very helpful. breakfast was tasty and the hotel staff helped with directions to local restaurants.
the hotel looks old with so many facilities.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful, I like that. Parking was easy, a real plus for me. My room was super clean, I certainly did appreciate this aspect. Breakfast was also fantastic, a great start to the day I did enjoy.
The tap handle was missing from the basin. Shower screen door was out of the lower runner, it did not seal properly.

The hotel had a good offer of traditional English breakfast, I will come back. You could eat at the hotel, it was affordable and very good, I must say. The decor in the dining area looked really top notch.

The room was large, I liked it. The bed was big and super comfortable, that was nice. The staff was really friendly and helpful with any requests I had, I appreciated this.

Private parking is perfect for a stop over, I believe. The bar staff helped with their fridge since my room had none, I did appreciate that. The historic coaching Inn is so excellent and well-kept.

My room was not clean. I found a lot of dust on surfaces. The bathroom floor had hair. The toilet had a leak and ran constantly. This was very annoying.

The location was very central. The free parking nearby was also very convenient. The bar was nice, I thought. I also enjoyed the food.
The room was too warm. The small window could not be opened much. The provided ventilator only circulated warm air. The teaspoon in my mug was also not clean!
