The staff were friendly. They were more than happy to help with my questions. The location was good for transport. It was not far from the city centre. I could walk there.
The hotel had a terrible smell in the corridor and the whole building. The smell was like mustiness. There were some issues with the interior. I noticed a barely working lock and loose slats in the room.

the hallway smelled funny. it reminded me of old socks. the bed wasn't much better. i could feel every spring pushing into my back. i tried to adjust but the mattress protested with loud squeaks, a real symphony of discomfort. it was a bit of a nightmare to try and sleep properly.

I found the staff very helpful and cute. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and snacks available each morning. My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
I noticed a slight musty smell in the hallway near the staircase. It was not overpowering, but some air fresheners could improve the atmosphere.

The hotel is very near Haymarket Station and offers easy access to public transport. There were many cafes and restaurants in the area. It was only a short, pleasant walk to the city center.

The location proved very convenient. It was close to Haymarket station (this made airport transfers simple). The building maintained its historical charm. The staff were friendly and helpful.

i found the staff cute, and the location suited my needs. the room was quiet,, and the complimentary morning snacks offered a quick start to the day. dropping off my bag early before my departure was really convenient. there were several levels, so i needed to climb stairs with my luggage.
i noticed exposed wire via a hole in the wall in my room. the heating barely worked. there was an extra heater provided. it was quite cold.
