wonderful stay

the guesthouse position was great. i found free parking and views are beautiful. it was a short walk to many pubs and restaurants. margaret and owen, who run this, were very lovely hosts. the room faced front and was really spacious. i found lots of storage and plug sockets. the bed was comfy, and there were table and chairs in the bay window.
the floorboards above the room were quite squeaky. someone was walking there, and i couldn't sleep easily. the smoke alarm was flashing green every 15 seconds. i won't stay again as a result of that.

the guesthouse has a bar. i noted the pool table is there. breakfast included full english, continental options, waffles, cereals, fruit, yogurt, and toast. these facilities.

My stay included a beautifully decorated room with a sea view. The location was perfect. Shops, restaurants, and the beach were close (it made exploring so easy!). The hosts were cute.
The floorboards in the room above mine were squeaky. Someone was walking around, and I had trouble falling asleep. It was a clean space, but not as quiet as I hoped.

The floorboards above my room creaked loudly. someone walked around late, it kept me awake. the smoke alarm flashed green every 15 seconds. It was annoying. i expected better considering other reviews.

The location was very convenient near the train station and restaurants. It was also close to the South West Coast Path. The managers were very pleasant people. They even provided a bag with fruit snacks and a water bottle because my train departed early and breakfast was not available.
I heard loud squeaky floorboards from the room above me. Someone was walking around and I could not get to sleep. The smoke alarm was right above my head and flashed a bright green light every fifteen seconds. I need a quiet place so I would not stay again.

I enjoyed the central location, near the beach and local shops. The staff was helpful with directions and local recommendations. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of hot and cold items, (I liked the fresh fruit).
The room was a bit smaller THAN expected.
