fantastic experience!
perfect locationquiet roomwell trained staffeasy parking
the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the town. i found on-street parking right outside the building very easily (a real plus!). the room felt spacious, clean, and very quiet, which i appreciated after long days. the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
the television only had a few channels.

my room included a modern bathroom with a large shower. the room size allowed for comfortable movement, a big plus when unpacking and repacking. there was also a kettle for making tea, which i definitely used!

The staff helped with directions and local recommendations and seemed genuinely happy to assist. check-in was quick and efficient. I was in my room in just minutes. every staff interaction left me feeling valued as a guest.

the hotel's central location made walking to shops and restaurants very simple. a pharmacy was also nearby, always good to know. the proximity to local attractions saved me a lot of travel time.

The lack of tea or coffee in the room was annoying (a basic requirement, in my opinion). I had to pay extra for an early check-in, despite the hotel appearing mostly empty. The bar served only soup and sandwiches. The restaurant was closed, so there were limited options for dinner.

The breakfast had many options, including gluten-free choices. The bathroom facilities were GREAT! The waiting staff at breakfast were so lovely. They made the start of each day FANTASTIC.
There was a slight, odd smell in the room upon arrival, but it disappeared after a few hours.

the location allowed easy town walks.
I found the restaurant closed upon arrival which was inconvenient. most westport restaurants were fully booked. the breakfast felt rigid. There was no full irish option plus no yoghurt. noise came from a nearby pub and zircon units near my room. i also heard a lot of noise from upstairs.

kathleen at the front desk really helped me when my taxi did not arrive. she drove me to the train station with my luggage. shannon at the front desk gave good recommendations about music and food. the breakfast was cooked to order and the morning staff were pleasant. the hotel provides iced water at reception returning from town.
