excellent location front desk solo traveler
The location is excellent. It is only one block from the Jardins de Luxembourg. Transportation and historic sights are very convenient. I felt safe as a solo traveler because the front desk has an attendant 24 hours a day (that was great!).
It was a little uncomfortable to bring my luggage to my room, as the elevator only goes to the fourth floor.

Excellent Stay!
great location friendly staff daily cleaning dining option
I found the location very nice. It is very close to the Luxembourg Gardens and the metro. Friendly staff cleaned the room daily, and I appreciated that! The front desk staff was helpful. I also loved how close it was to many shops and dining options.
The elevator only goes to the fourth floor. I had to carry my luggage up one flight of stairs. It was slightly inconvenient.

There is no on-site parking available. public parking is accessible nearby. It requires payment. A lift is available . It offers access to the first four floors! I found this very helpful for getting around.

The location was excellent! It's near Notre Dame with easy metro access. The Luxembourg Gardens are a block away. Shakespeare and Company bookstore is close offering an awesome bonus.

Mixed Experience. Some Issues Noted
small room rude receptionist
The location was acceptable.
The room felt quite small. I found the receptionist was rude when I asked about leaving the room key. She screamed at me and then added a 'please' at the end, I thought this was very impolite. This really frustrated me.

charming stay near luxembourg gardens
excellent location helpful staff clean room great water pressure
i really enjoyed that the location was fantastic, only a short walk to the luxembourg gardens. it was also very convenient with many shops and restaurants nearby! the staff were very helpful and kind, they seemed patient and happy to assist. i found the triple room to be really clean with great water pressure in the large bathroom.
the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor. it made it a bit inconvenient to take my luggage up to the fifth floor without any assistance offered.

i did not eat at the hotel. however, i noticed a lovely café right next door. it provided an excellent spot for enjoying food and drinks in the sun.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location felt safe and quiet at night. The room was tidy and cleaned every day, which I really appreciated.
The elevator does not go to the top floor, so I had to carry my luggage up some stairs.

Acceptable stay with some downsides
cramped room uneven flooring
The room felt quite cramped I noticed uneven flooring , made sleeping a little awkward. I also heard noise early each morning I think it came from either the housekeeping staff or other guests. A receptionist became a little aggressive when I asked about leaving my room key when I went out.
