the check-in was friendly it went smoothly. parking was available nearby parking discs were provided. biscuits were in the room with tea and coffee. the tea and coffee supply was generous there was plentiful uht milk. decaf coffee was available it was a big bonus for me.
i asked for a sea view room when i booked months in advance but i was put in the lowest possible room. there was no view at all.

Superb Visit!
coffee sachets beach stroll
I found plenty of coffee sachets were available. I was not restricted to one or two drinks a day. The location is great too! I had a short stroll to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the station and centre of town.

A Decent Stay

The room was very clean and tidy. it had a good supply of tea and milk, replenished daily. it was also a quiet room. I found it to be a good base for exploring the area.
going in, the woman who greeted me did not seem very friendly. she seemed eager to get rid of me, the room looked nothing like the pictures, and the old cupboards were falling apart. the view of the back alley apartment from my bedroom window wasn't great.

spacious family room comfortable bed beach lift
The family room was spacious enough for our needs. The king-size bed provided me with a great night's sleep. The guest house is a short walk to the beach lift and nearby shops.
Parking outside is restricted to certain hours.

The guest house provides parking permits for overnight unloading. Tea and coffee supplies were generous, with UHT milk. Decaf coffee was available, which I found very thoughtful.

charming stay
convenient location parking pass good light
the location was great, i could easily walk to the town centre! we parked outside and got a parking pass from the owner and did not need the car. we stayed in a family room with a huge bed plus bunk beds. i appreciated the good natural light.
the window was very high and i could not see out of it, the room was on the top floor, making it difficult with my leg.

the hotel has a lovely café on site, i enjoyed coffee and breakfast there. breakfast was served at a nearby hotel, run by the same owners. it featured cakes and pastries from a local bakery.
