slightly disappointing experience

the staff was helpful. the location was also quite good for getting around.
the room was not clean. i found the bathroom had a layer of grime and the toilet seemed to not flush properly. i was disappointed by this issue.

The location was acceptable for accessing public transportation.
The cleanliness of the room needs SERIOUS attention. I noticed dust throughout the room, indicating it was not properly cleaned. The shower had visible mold on the walls and tiles, a completely unacceptable condition.

The location provided easy access to local cafes and transportation. I found it quite convenient. the staff accommodated a late check-out request, which i appreciated. they also stored my luggage securely after i checked out, allowing me more time to explore. i liked the complimentary coffee offered in the lobby. it was a nice touch.
This made moving luggage quite difficult, particularly given the narrow stairs. i found this to be a challenge.

The staff offered assistance with directions. They were helpful. i observed quick responses to inquiries. there was also proactive help with luggage, which i found very useful. it was a nice addition.

nearby restaurants offered varied cuisines, and i liked that. tram stops were easily accessible. several shops and a bakery are within short walking distance. vondelpark is a short tram ride away, and it is a very nice green space.

the bus stop for airport transfers was near. the tram stop made getting to the center easy! there was also a shop nearby.
The stairs were steep. This made carrying luggage difficult.

The triple room was spacious. it provided sufficient room for everyone, i noticed balconies where smoking is allowed. the hotel is near a park. It's amazing, especially since i traveled with my dog. tram stops are very close to the hotel. it is convenient because it takes only about 25 minutes to reach the central station.
the shower water drained slowly. this meant i sometimes needed towels to prevent overflow.

i found the location convenient. it was close to public transport and a nice park (perfect for a morning stroll!). the staff were very friendly and helpful. i had a single room, and it was quite comfortable and well kept. the coffee machine in reception was a real bonus.
i noticed the bathroom lighting could be improved slightly.
