the breakfast was freshly cooked to order. a full english breakfast with vegetarian options was available, which i found quite nice.
we were told we had to book a space in the car park. then it seems that is first come, first served so we called to reserve for nothing.

I stayed one night for a local event. The staff proved friendly and accommodating, it was very nice. My room was clean and provided a comfortable environment. The breakfast was very good, with a selection of options available.
The hallway carpets looked quite worn. I know they are renewing them.

The rooms were lovely and spacious. clean. the bed was comfy, i slept like a log. breakfast was very good, i enjoyed the full cooked english and the cereal and pastries selection. i was so glad the bar was open. The website said it would be closed!!!

the staff were friendly and helpful. the bar had a good choice of drinks and a good style. the central location was a plus! the room had everything i needed like toiletries, a kettle, a comfy bed, and a table. plenty of breakfast choices were available, that's great!
the hotel itself was difficult to find in the first place. scaffolding surrounded it.

The room was very clean and newly decorated. I liked it a lot. new fixtures and fittings added a lot. the hot breakfast was great, i really liked the efficient service too. free on-site car parking worked very well.
The stair carpet needs replacing. It's a minor thing though.
