the location was acceptable.
the room they assigned was not good (i booked another room type). i needed to check out and check in again in the afternoon to change the room. the room included a narrow staircase, and i needed to descend it to use the bathroom.

The staff was really kind. the location was perfect, really close to everything i needed. i had free water and coffee in reception. That was a welcome bonus!
the room they gave me wasn't ideal. i think i booked a different room, but i got a worse one. they offered a change the next morning, but it required another check-out and check-in, and i did not have the time.

the location proved convenient with the duomo about 25 minutes away by foot. trams run into the city center frequently. staff gave helpful dinner recommendations and a better map than i bought (i found that very useful). the bed and pillows were comfortable.
the wifi signal was weak in the room i occupied. this made it difficult to work at times. however, this was a minor inconvenience (not really a big deal).
