Fantastic Hotel with Great Breakfast!
stylish room good size amazing design reception service
The room was stylish and a very good size with an amazing design. I enjoyed the included breakfast, finding it delicious. The reception service was really good. Parking is available, costing 50GBP without the code but only 15GBP with the hotel discount.
The hotel is a little far from the city centre. A bus ride may be necessary if walking is not preferred.

The breakfast had lots of options for vegetarians and the buffet offered a variety of choices. Self-service was available and the food was served hot. The options were plentiful and very tasty.

seamless experience friendly staff hot drinks
Check in to checkout was seamless. The team has this right. I have stopped in many ihg hotels and this was one of the best. The staff were always professional and very kind. Constant supply of hot drinks in public area.. I found it most welcome if I did not fancy alcohol.
I found that the cleaner did not remove the rubbish or change our cups.

The hotel is located next to st james cemetery, offering a super calm place. The abbey is within a twenty-minute walking distance, with access to historical landmarks and other attractions in the surrounding area.

The room features two types of pillows on the large bed, awesome for customizable comfort. The bathroom was very clean and well kept, indicating a high standard of hygiene. Black out curtains were effective for a dark sleeping environment.

Average stay. Some noticeable issues
limited options expensive parking
the breakfast was pretty underwhelming. i saw quite a queue for the single coffee machine, and they were running out of plates. parking also felt steep. i paid quite a bit from tuesday evening to friday and couldn't even get a vat invoice. i doubt i'll be back, even though i'm working in the area for a couple months.

the hotel's location offered easy access to the city centre. i found the staff consistently helpful and friendly . breakfast was quite busy, yet the team worked hard to replenish food and utensils. i was given helpful advice on local transport options.
i noticed a few areas where the floor needed a more thorough vacuuming.

The staff were helpful when i checked in. the room included tea and coffee making facilities that were replenished daily. the breakfast had a good selection. The buffet offered both hot and cold items, and i liked that breakfast details were sent to me in advance.
