Underwhelming Caravan Experience
artificial scentmusty smell
I arrived to find an intense, artificial scent. It seemed to be covering up a musty smell. Maybe some new flooring instead of the carpet would help. It made me wonder what I was breathing in all weekend.

the caravan was clean. the owner's communication was very good. the caravan park was nice. the location was fine (close to many amenities).
i noticed an overpowering 'shake and vac' type smell. there was a musty odor. perhaps replacing the carpets would eliminate the smell.

the caravan was very clean. i found the cooking facilities to be very good. i had easy access. communication was great.
i noticed a musty odour masked by an overpowering smell upon arrival. perhaps replacing the carpets in the living area and bathroom with lino would help to eliminate the smell

I found the hotel quite private, as it is situated high up. the cleanliness was excellent and it had everything we needed. the wifi was strong. I could even use a firestick (which was a bonus!). the tv was a good size. the caravan park welcomed dogs and the hotel was prepared for it with throws over the sofas.
there was a slight musty odour when i arrived (i opened the windows).

While there wasn't a restaurant directly in the accommodation (it is a caravan!), the fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy. i made a full roast dinner. All the utensils i needed were available.

the host's communication before our arrival was great (very helpful). they provided information on key collection and site rules. this ensured a smooth check-in and a stress-free start to our stay.
