problems overshadowed positives

The room was a decent size and generally clean.
The shower temperature was erratic. I experienced sudden scalding hot water, a real safety concern. The breakfast was not great either. It was cold and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while.. this made the start to the day unpleasant. i found one of the staff members quite unhelpful too. This was an unnecessary difficulty.

the taxi ride from the station cost only £10 which was a nice surprise. sam and beth gave me a warm welcome. uber eats deliveries were very convenient in the evening.
the bedroom felt a little cramped it is true.

The room was super clean. It was also on the ground floor! this made loading and unloading from the car very easy, as it was parked just outside the front door. sam delivered a great breakfast with lots of choice, including very nice poached eggs on toast with tea. we were, it was like a home from home.
The location is outside of the town. A car is useful.

The estate boasts grounds with lots of greenery. Peace surrounds you everywhere. it also is a short drive from the coast and town, a fantastic balance of rural tranquillity.

the twin room was clean. it was thoughtfully furnished with everything i needed! there was plenty of space to relax. the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful, perfect after a long day.

the hotel has board games which guests can use! check-in and check-out were easy. the estate provided toiletries, so you don't need to bring much stuff! we were welcomed with a tea basket.

A GEM in the countryside

The location is AMAZING!!! It is wonderfully quiet. The grounds are very well kept, down a single track, tree-lined road. The setting is tranquil. It offers lovely views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and bright. I was greeted warmly and offered coffee upon arrival. I was shown to my room and told breakfast times and options. The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. The hosts. They were responding to my questions about the region. The hotel is situated in a quiet spot in the country, near the town.
The bedroom was slightly cramped. I had minimal space to move around the desk.

the location was quiet with nice greenery.
The bedroom felt very cramped. to use the desk, i had to sit on the bed frame. there was only one accessible power outlet, so i had to disconnect the tv and kettle each time i needed it. It was quite inconvenient, and i had to get on my hands and knees to do it.
