Solid Stay with Great Spa Access

efficient stafftea stationspa facilitiesbreakfast buffet
I found the staff at reception to be very helpful and efficient upon arrival. My room had lovely tea and coffee making facilities. The spa facilities include a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and plunge pools. The breakfast buffet provided a wide array of choices, including sausages and bacon.
I noticed that the parking area was quite limited. Finding a space proved difficult.
Location

The hotel offered lovely sea views because of its position on a headland. The distance to the town and beach is considerable without transportation. The hotel is set back a bit from the main street. It is very quiet.
Service

The reception staff were friendly and handled check-in efficiently. The staff promptly addressed requests, showing genuine concern. There was an asian lady in the breakfast room that did some tidying.

inconsistent cleaningbag search
I found some issues. our room was warm. despite this i didn't complain since it was just a standard room. the cleaning service was inconsistent. They replaced cups but left used towels. also, my belongings seemed to have been disturbed, it was like my bag was searched, made me uncomfortable.

The restaurant had varied choices for dinner. i especially liked the view from our room over the gardens and the bay. it really added a tender touch. breakfast was also excellent. The quality of the cooked items was very high.
the service at the bar was quite slow, it was a bit of a letdown. the cost for a gin and tonic was rather high. i wished these details were different.
