The hotel's position allowed for convenient walks to the downs, town center, and various restaurants, everything was within a manageable 20-minute walk. it was a quiet area. I didn't hear any loud night music from the nearby beach.

Check-in was simple. It felt relaxed. the staff were lovely. They offered assistance and information. i was allowed to make a sandwich at breakfast and take it. That was nice.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
cold shower
The room I stayed in had a noticeable issue. The shower had a slow water flow, and I experienced no hot water at all. I had to take a cold shower. I contacted the hotel and customer services after my stay but received no response from the hotel (very poor communication).

I appreciated the friendly staff. They were very helpful. the room was clean, and i liked the sea view from the windows (it made waking up a joy). the location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
The wifi signal was unreliable. It made it difficult to stream videos or browse efficiently. i hope they improve the network connection in the future.

the hotel is across the street from the beach and close to walking trails. it is a short bus ride from the train station, with access. the south downs way trail end is nearby.

my room included a comfortable bed with nice bedding and pillows. the bathroom was clean and well kept. i had a decent-sized room with everything i needed for a pleasant stay.

the continental breakfast offered a lot of choice and excellent service. the person at reception was super helpful (especially when i needed to shorten my stay). lorraine, who helped with breakfast, was wonderful.
