Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Dorset offers great value for money and a convenient location for exploring Lewes, with the town center easily reachable on foot. Many guests appreciate the spacious and clean rooms, some of which are equipped with useful amenities like coffee machines, kettles, and ironing facilities. While the continental breakfast is generally considered adequate, some have noted its limited selection of items like cooked breakfast options. The hotel's proximity to a public car park is a definite plus for those arriving by car, and its location also makes it a good base for visiting nearby attractions like Glyndebourne Opera or even Eastbourne.

Adequate Stay

clean roomequipped roomblack mouldshower door
The room was clean and well equipped. The location is also good. I found the breakfast to be simple, self-service, but there was enough choice. I think it is good value.
The kettle had black mould inside , I saw this in room 4 and the kettle needs removing immediately. The glass shower door doesn't appear to be fully attached. It feels like it might come off the runners when you open and close the door, this could be very dangerous.
