solid stay near the action

The room had a double bed which i found comfortable. i liked the bus stop located right outside. It provided easy access to the city center. the included breakfast was a nice perk.
the room decor felt a bit outdated. the curtains were hanging slightly off the rail, which detracted from the overall appearance. i also noticed some mould in the shower area.

Wonderful stay
fresh choices excellent advice quiet room easy access
The breakfast was good with various fresh choices. Duncan was helpful when I first arrived. He gave excellent advice for touring the city. My single room was situated at the back. I found it very quiet despite the proximity to a busy road. The location offered easy access to the city center.
I noticed a little neglect regarding the front garden and some plants inside.

chaotic service hot food
the location was fine close to bus lines into the city center
the breakfast service was a disaster it was understaffed and chaotic i saw guests clearing their own tables and struggling to find clean cutlery also the hot food ran out quickly and wasn't replenished leaving few options near the end of service the lack of attention to detail really detracted from the experience

clean room comfortable bed run down building plumbing smell
the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the guest house was near the city center and that helped a lot.
the building seemed run down inside and out. i found the plumbing had some smells, so i had to keep the bathroom fan running.

helpful staff convenient location ample breakfast cleanliness
the staff was helpful. the location proved quite convenient, a bus stop stood just across from the premises. breakfast offered ample choices. the room's cleanliness met expectations. it was a suitable setting for a brief visit and i found it pretty adequate.
i found that the room was a little dated, it could probably use a refresh. the general maintenance could use some improvement. i still enjoyed my stay though.

The personnel demonstrated a cordial attitude. They were helpful with directions. their attentiveness to requests greatly contributed to the positive atmosphere. i found the service efficient and quite cute. It was a nice touch.

Adequate but Flawed
old bedding grubby furniture
The host was friendly enough at breakfast (the cooked breakfast was included).
The room was not what I expected. The photos online must have been taken a while ago, because it was a bit run down now. The bedding was old and the furniture looked grubby. I didn't realize the bathroom wasn't ensuite. (It was across the hall, requiring a code to enter.).

The cooked breakfast included with the room was a great bonus. The staff were very friendly and check-in was easy. My room had a great garden view.
The front garden looked a little neglected. The plants inside the hotel needed some attention. I noticed thick dust in the entrance hall.
