i have stayed at the hotel before. this time, i stayed in a lodge, and i was very impressed. the underfloor heating worked wonderfully, and the big towels were a plus. the beds are comfy and the pillows are lovely. the kitchen had all the equipment i needed, including kitchen paper, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, tea, and coffee.

the receptionist was friendly and helpful upon arrival. she kindly carried my mother's bag for me. the reception staff even showed us to our room, rare these days.

The gym seemed adequate, with several machines available for a workout.
It was disappointing because I chose this hotel specifically so my kids could use the pool. The dinner service was REALLY slow. It took over an hour to get our food because the server forgot to submit our order. It was a frustrating experience.

the health centre has great facilities and a lovely atmosphere. breakfast was delicious and the restaurant service was efficient. there was a tremendous view of the golf course from the breakfast area. large parking is available .
the room lighting was quite poor.

all meals were fantastic and the drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. the sunday roast included a massive plate of food and was delicious. the health suite was clean and well maintained.
