the location suited my travel plans well enough.
The noise was a real issue. I heard every footstep throughout the night. there was also a spider in my room, and even after reporting it, another one looked. it was a pretty unpleasant experience for me.

I found parking directly outside the reception, a definite plus for security. The staff efficiently handled check-in and provided drinks and snacks. My room, located in the annex, was modern, spacious, and super clean. Breakfast was promptly served and good value, which helped us get on our way quickly the next morning.

the room was spacious. bathroom facilities were also lovely. i liked that the hotel is excellently located and looked well cared for.
food portions were not great value. i found the sunday lunch with my family disappointing, as the table felt small for six people.

My second visit happened, and i would choose no other place. the staff provided such a warm welcome. george, matt, tom, alfie, with rest of the team know customer service well. they were very good. No request seemed too troublesome.
the walls were thin in the room i had. i was in a lower ground floor room. it was pretty noisy plus there was a smell that was masked by air freshener.

lovely time at hotel

i love this place, it was our anniversary. we've stayed many times, the staff are amazing especially sarah, and tom but i didn't see him this time. we had a carvery it was just divine. it just our little get away place.
we were in room 25. there was hardly any insulation between walls and ceiling. people above started pacing again around 6 a.m. without insulation, the room was literally not fit for purpose.
