A decent stay
great location friendly staff excellent host bathroom access missing elevator top floor
The location was great. It was just off the main center. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant below was lively with Chris being an excellent host.
I found several practical issues. To reach the bathroom and toilet you pass the common corridor. We were on the top floor and there was no elevator.

a charming stay in a historic building
excellent location complimentary water strong air conditioning
The location proved excellent. It was very close to attractions. the room offered complimentary bottled water upon arrival which was nice. strong air conditioning maintained a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. It was much appreciated.
The bathroom felt small. Squeezing between the toilet and sink to access the shower was a bit inconvenient.

The check-in process was quick and easy. It accommodated my late arrival due to a delayed flight. staff were friendly and helpful. They provided useful directions to local attractions. the family run aspect was lovely.

My room was decorated in traditional maltese style. It had unique character. the building has historical value. It reminded me of visiting a small museum on the way to the room. the double bed was wonderful!

The hotel is within a short walking distance of shops and restaurants. I found it very convenient. the hotel is super clean, and it is nicely appointed with fresh decor. the breakfast selection was a pleasant addition.

charming stay in a historic setting
central location spacious room efficient staff
The location was central, close to many attractions. We walked everywhere. the room provided was spacious and beautifully decorated. the staff proved friendly and efficient, readily addressing any requests we presented to them.
I found that soundproofing was inadequate. Noise from the nearby street did disrupt sleep.

Breakfast was available downstairs in the brasserie. I noticed it offered a variety of pastries and hot dishes. the restaurant area looked clean. it also had outdoor seating who preferred to dine outside.

The hotel offered key access for late arrivals. This system felt secure. the reception staff were available to provide local information and assistance. i appreciated their prompt responses to inquiries we made prior to arrival

The building had traditional maltese architectural features which gave it character. the absence of a lift was notable. Guests with mobility issues should be aware of this. the decor created a very pleasant atmosphere.
