a PLACE of quiet and charm

the room was clean. and very comfortable. Instructions for key collection were clear. the location was in easy distance of the train station and The Halls. the shared facilities were clean and pleasant to use.
i think the web site inferred your own toilet and shower. which isn't the case. i'm not complaining because it was fine for the price. but this inference was my only small disappointment.

the location is good with free parking available. i found an efficient check in system upon arrival. the bed was comfortable and i felt secure throughout my stay.
it was not particularly easy to find the hotel initially. i did not print a map beforehand, a possible oversight on my part.

The room was clean (that was a plus).
I found the building noisy at night. There was loud banging and shouting (it was quite unsettling). This made it hard to sleep well.

i found no staff around, even for kitchen access.
