a gem found, a heart delighted

the friendly staff, were everything i hoped for. a shop nearby offered little treasures, and a pub with food sits only five minutes away. the breakfast, so delicious, and varied, was a highlight of my mornings, easy parking made arrivals simple.
the bathroom felt wanting. the toilet, it didn't flush right, it brought a little shadow to otherwise bright stay.

The tv in my room didn't even turn on. i tried to find someone to help, but nobody was around. It was like they vanished. also, the bathroom bin was full of rubbish when i arrived.

i appreciated the clean room. the breakfast room was beautiful with its glass. staff helped with laundry during our trip, very useful. the staff asked us to hand over the laundry early to have enough time.
the bedroom window was not sealed properly. a draft was noticeable as it was quite stormy outside. when i wanted to take a shower, there was no hot water available. the cold water stopped functioning after a few minutes.
