Excellent stay, dog-friendly and secure
dog-friendly space helpful staff secure parking
I found the hotel dog-friendly, complete with a lovely garden and terrace. The staff were all great and very helpful. It was evident they cared about the customer experience. The free, secure parking allowed me to leave my car until 5 pm on my check-out day. A local supermarket is only a 10-minute walk, very convenient.
Unfortunately, I noticed a permanent smell of food throughout the hotel. This was off-putting, despite it likely being attributable to the building being older.

The Comfort Queen Room was very clean, and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings. I appreciated the attention to detail and found the space suitable for unwinding after a busy day.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! with a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. The dining room is gorgeous, and the food was excellent, and the service was both attentive and perfect.

kind staff gated parking convenient location
The staff was very kind. The hotel provided gated parking. I could easily walk into town from this location. I appreciated the personality of the hotel.

the room was tiny. the bathroom wasn't very clean either. i found several hairs in the shower which was disgusting.

old bathroom leaking shower
The room felt a bit empty. The walk to the old town seemed far. That is where all the action is. There was no fridge or ironing tools. The shower leaked on the second day. I found the bathroom old. It needs updates.
