the location is excellent, right next to kings cross. i found the staff quite friendly. the room was clean upon arrival, i was very grateful.
the stairs were a bit narrow, making carrying luggage slightly tricky.

awesome stay near king's cross!
room upgradecomfortable bedrusty kettle
i got a fantastic upgrade to a room that included an en suite, it was so much better than i expected! the bed was super comfortable too. they gave me all the usual things i needed including fresh towels and soap. a hairdryer was also in the room, so i didn't need to use the iron or ironing board in the hall.
the basement room was tiny and it did not have much air circulating. the kettle was also a bit rusty, but that was my only complaint!

breakfast isn't offered at the hotel, but it is very close to loads of great places where you can grab a bite. several local cafes and restaurants offer convenient choices, they are easily accessible for a quick meal.

this hotel has A GREAT location near major train stations. the room was functional for a quick overnight stay before catching an early train. the proximity to kings cross and st pancras stations was very convenient. nearby cafes offered options for breakfast.
the room i had was fairly small, though adequate for a short stay.
