The room had complimentary gin and tonics. The bathroom featured a wonderful rainfall shower. Bear-shaped towels added a nice touch.

a very nice stay, indeed
good selection dog attention
the breakfast had a great selection and it came speedily. the staff was amazing and they were great for our dog. our dog got blankets in the bar plus his own bowl and treats.
i booked a table for four adults plus one baby in a high chair and when we arrived the table felt small. the high chair came out dirty and it took three wipes before it was clean enough.

the somerley room was beautiful with detail in a vintage style and very clean. the air con unit and dyson fan were great to have. a local milk bottle and water came in the fridge, very cute.

the staff was very kind. breakfast got expedited fast because of our tight schedule. our dog seemed like it got even more attention than the humans. the attention to detail felt fantastic.

the staff was friendly. they provided excellent service. the breakfast selection was superb with cereals, fruit, and yoghurts. there was also a good selection of cooked items, presented beautifully.
The high chair was filthy with dirt. it took three antibacterial wipes before it was reasonably clean. the baby changing facilities were dimly lit. It was hard to see. the lamb shoulder was overcooked and tough.

AMAZING Stay!
comfortable bed quality product nespresso machine fine dining
The rooms feature very comfortable beds and quality products. A Nespresso coffee machine and a Marshall speaker were included. Bramley bathroom products added a touch of luxury! Breakfast was AMAZING with a variety of options. The chef prepared different specials EVERY day. The food had fine dining quality.
The room was nice, but a little small for my taste.

The location is good if you are driving. Nearby towns and beaches included Christchurch, Southbourne, and Highcliff. The New Forest and Purbeck Island are a short drive away.

the room was beautifully decorated. i had a family room, which gave us extra space. the staff offered us two free g&t's, very kind.
the wine prices seemed frankly ridiculous. i paid 10.90 for a glass of house wine, quite high. i feel they need to adjust their pricing, or the pub will risk closing again.

amazing stay! definitely coming back
bear theme helpful staff delicious breakfast
I ADORED the bear theme in my room, especially the adorable towel bears on the bed! breakfast was DELICIOUS. It really made my morning. the staff were friendly and helpful, even offering help with my bags. it was just meant to be a stopover, but i'm already planning a longer return trip!
the room i was given was a bit far from the elevator, and it was a LONG walk with heavy luggage.

the reception staff were cute and ready to assist with any inquiries. i noticed a staff member promptly addressing a guest's concern regarding their room, which shows excellent attention to detail. everyone seemed happy to help!

design flaw energy waste
the breakfast was really good. ample parking was available.
I found a significant issue with the room setup. The air conditioning unit in my room blew air directly toward the roof not into the actual living space it should have. this design flaw made the room uncomfortably warm even with the ac running at full blast. it reminded me of a complete waste of energy and didn't provide any relief from the heat.
