the hotel location proved quite convenient. i was only a short walk from the city center, around 15 minutes i think. the staff were very friendly and helpful (always a bonus!). i found the room itself to be basic, but it was clean and tidy.
the air conditioning wasn't working (a bit of a bummer, that). it seemed to heat the room instead, less than ideal. the bed was also quite narrow. i also found only one thin towel in the room.

the bedroom provided very comfy beds with equipment. the staff looked friendly and accommodating. the breakfast area featured a well-stocked selection, with plenty of room. i ate pizzas from the bar for dinner and they offered good value.
the hotel beyond reception seems dated with strange color schemes. it gave me a slightly depressing impression.

the location offered convenient access to various points. the hotel is approximately a twenty-minute walk from the cathedral. complimentary coffee in the lobby was a great touch, and the rooms was superb.

the hotel provided parking for nine euros per night, a great value. i found a supermarket right around the corner.. it was handy. i appreciated the short fifteen-minute walk to town, especially along the river.
the air conditioning system was off, and i found it warm. i opened the window due to this, and there was a lot of noise from the street. it made it difficult to sleep.
