Fine Views and Superb Service
friendly staff breakfast option fine view
The staff was friendly. Breakfast each morning had many options. I especially enjoyed the shortcut to reach the town center. It really saved a lot of time. The view from the balcony showed the Matterhorn in all its glory.
The hotel only has one iron, and they ask you to iron in the hallway.

Acceptable stay
friendly staff good breakfast tunnel access bad smell difficult access extra charge
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had good options for everyone. I liked the quick access to town via the Schöenegg tunnel.
I found that the room and bathroom had distinctive bad smells. The hotel is hard to reach on foot with luggage from the railway station. The hotel charged for basic stuff.

inconvenient refrigerator messy faucet
the hotel had a tunnel to reach the town center and it was convenient.
the room lacked a refrigerator and i found that quite inconvenient. i also noticed the faucet in the bathroom sprayed water everywhere. washing hands became a messy task each time.
