The staff provided camomile tea promptly when I asked for it for my kid.
I was asked for a £50 pre-authorisation for potential damages. This charge DID appear as a pending transaction on my account. I REALLY needed that money for transport and food after redundancy, so this situation was infuriating.

the location was excellent, close to the high street. i found the staff members pleasant. the breakfast was nice and filling (especially the sausages!). it made for a good start to the day.
the noise from the road was noticeable. i found that the room was too hot throughout the night (even with the window open). it was difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The bathroom cleanliness was not perfect. It required closer attention.

My room included a work desk and chair, ideal for catching up on emails. i found two bedside tables with lamps on each side of the bed. the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. It suited my needs. the complimentary toiletries were a welcome addition. They smelled of citrus.
The corridor carpets showed signs of wear and tear. They could benefit from replacement.

the standard twin room featured two separate beds with individual reading lights. a wardrobe with hangers and shelving provided ample storage space. a small television with cable channels was mounted on the wall opposite the beds.

the hotel sits a short walk from the high street where there are many shops! the hotel is an easy drive to nearby attractions. it took me about fifteen minutes to get to the studio tour.

The room size was good. Staff seemed friendly. Breakfast included several options. There was tea, coffee, juice, yogurts, fruit, pastries, and a full English breakfast. Free parking was available. The location is easy to reach from the motorway.
The bathroom was a bit grubby, it seemed dated.
