Excellent Stay with Thoughtful Touches

good condition excellent location restock cabinet breakfast scissors
The hotel was kept in very good condition. Its location proved excellent. I appreciated the restock cabinet located in the main hall. Scissors were available on the table for opening sachets at breakfast.
The room was a bit bright in the morning. Curtains could be a little thicker to block out more light.
Dining
10/10
Breakfast was cooked to order and tasted great. There was a wide range of cereals, yogurts, fruit, and fruit juices available. Coffee and tea were offered, in addition to a full fry-up, sandwich, or bagel.
Facilities
9/10
A mini fridge with fresh milk was in the room. Board games and books were available for borrowing in the hall. A box of essentials was provided. It contained items such as tissues and toothbrushes.

Vintage Vibes, A Mixed Bag

dog smelling microwaved breakfast
The host was friendly, and the room included a mini-fridge, a welcome touch.
The whole place had an odd smell, sort of like wet dog and old furniture. Breakfast tasted like it had been microwaved. A pre-cooked affair, which I found quite disappointing for the price. The so-called 'vintage' decor felt more like a cover-up for shabbiness.
